He graduated from the Veterinary College of the University of Milan in 1990. He became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine - Companion Animals (Specialty of Cardiology) in 1999. In the period 2004-2006 he followed the Master in Electrophysiology and electrical stimulation at the University of Medicine of Insubria in Varese. He obtained a PhD at the University of Turin – College of Veterinary Internal medicine in 2010. He directs the cardiology divisions of the Clinica Veterinaria Malpensa in Samarate, Varese (Italy) and of the Ospedale Veterinario I Portoni Rossi, Bologna (Italy). From 2014 he is adjunct professor of cardiology at the Veterinary College of the Cornell University, New York – USA. His main research activities include the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias in dogs. He loves teaching all over the world, jogging, work-out, hatha yoga, playing piano and overall staying with his family, Aussie and Westies included.
The 20 February 1999 Dr Roberto Santilli graduated at the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine – Specialty of cardioglogy.
